Imagine having to deal with a cranky child who just won't stop fidgeting or stay still. Child photographers have to deal with situations like this on a daily basis. Shooting children may be the most difficult photography session possible, of course a Montessori teacher may beg to differ as they have to handle scores of babbling children all at once. That said, baby photographers are not far behind on the challenge part of a profession. There are several ways to approach photographing a child. It can either be a tough job or a sweet spot. How child photographers tackle their assignments and the easy tricks and tips to taking great photos is what this article attempts. Make the photography session a fun activity. Children's photographers usually make the first half an hour or so a game as this gives them a chance to bond with the child and strike a better rapport. Having some soft toys or interesting props is sure to keep the kid engaged. Children's photographers also use interesting backdrops and location to shoot whenever possible. Imagine all the great photos that have held your attention. Children on park benches, children in a garden, a child on a swing, a child staring at a board game and so many others.
